DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The teachers of the Department have developed curricula, work programs, methodological documents that correspond to the educational qualification characteristics of specialists. For the help of students over the last five years, six textbooks and monographs and 57 methodological developments have been issued, and over the past year two study guides and 11 methodological developments have been issued. Professionally oriented disciplines are provided with the necessary computer programs. Laboratory works, coursework and diploma projects and works are executed on 100% using a computer.

In addition to the publication of traditional teaching and methodological support, at the university and the department electronic cases on educational disciplines were developed, which include a working curriculum, a rating card, a summary of lectures, guidelines for the implementation of laboratory and practical work, guidance for self-study, exam questions, etc. .

For the training of specialists in the specialty “Computer Science and Information Technologies” three computer classes are uniquely assigned, which are connected in a local network and connected to the general network of SHEI USUCT and the Internet.

The Department carries out training with the help of distance learning. Two teachers of the Department already have certificates of a tutor – associate professor S.А. Borzov and senior teacher V.M. Bezob. M.M. Babeschuk, a graduate of the Department in 2012, developed and implemented the information system of distance learning of students in the discipline “Theory of algorithms”.

In 2011, the Department opened a magistracy.

At the Department of Informatio Systems much attention is paid to the integration of teaching students with science and production. In the educational process, widely used materials of research, performed by the scientific team of the Department. Students of the Department take an active part in student olympiads in professional disciplines and higher mathematics (for example, a graduate in 2012, K.I. Danilov took the third place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on Computer Science in Kharkiv), in competitions of student works, in scientific conferences etc. Graduate projects of many graduates have been implemented at enterprises. A graduate in 2012 I.V. Kuzmenko developed and introduced at the Department the information system for calculating the planned and actual load of the teaching staff, which greatly simplifies the work of the academic secretary of the Department when calculating the load of teachers. Student D.A. Stadnik developed an automated workplace of the academic secretary of the Department.

The high quality of training specialists in the specialty “Information Control Systems and Technologies” is ensured due to the high scientific potential of the faculty, scientific research work, work on theses, studying in the magistracy, qualification development, publication of scientific works, participation in scientific seminars and conferences.
