The lecture of Evelina Koltsova, a graduate of the TNR and E department, “Rainy “sewage” on October 18 at the department of technology of inorganic substances and ecology was open lecture “Rain “waste” water in the city”, prepared by a graduate of the department Evelina Koltsova. water in the city”

In 2018, Evelina completed her master’s degree at UDHTU, majoring in Ecology 101, and simultaneously studied at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet) thanks to the participation of the TNRtaE department in the international educational project “Harmonization of graduate education related to water resources (Water Harmony a>)” under the Erasmus+ program. After receiving a diploma at UDHTU, Evelina continued her studies in Norway under the program “Drinking and wastewater treatment technology”. After graduation, Evelina started her career in the water industry and currently works as a water and environmental engineer at Asplan Viak, Norway, including her work related specifically to issues of rainwater drainage during the design of individual buildings, building complexes and other structures.

The lecture on the management of rain “waste” water was both theoretical and practical and contained specific examples of building design from the speaker’s own experience. Evelina talked about the strategy and approaches in the management of rainwater in Norway, cited specific measures aimed at solving or significantly reducing the problem of inundation during floods, which are currently being implemented in Norway, considered software that allows you to take into account the issue of rainwater drainage and significantly facilitate the design of buildings .

Also, Evelina talked a little about her life path, studying at UDHTU, participation in international educational projects, emphasized the need to learn English and the importance and modernity of environmental specializations, including in the field of water management.

The lecture was attended by students of the department studying the specialties Ecology and Chemical technologies and engineering and teachers of the department teaching courses related to water issues.

The TNRtaE Department thanks Evelina Koltsova for an interesting and useful lecture!
