L.O. Snizhko graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Chemical Technology Institute in the specialty “Chemical technology of oil and gas processing” in 1973.

In 1982, she defended her candidate’s thesis, and in 1994 – a doctoral dissertation. In 2003 she was awarded the title of professor. She is a member of two specialized councils for the defense of doctoral dissertations D 08.078.02 and D 08.078.01 at the Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University.

Discipline, which teaches: ” Chemmotology”, “Application of fuels, lubricants and other petroleum products”, ” Chemmotology of alternative fuels”. Every year he is the head of the research diploma work of specialists and masters.

Scientific interests: in the field of development of corrosion-resistant coatings and the study of kinetics and thermodynamics of the formation of crystalline sediments on metal surfaces.

Publications: is co-author of two monographs and more than 100 scientific works and inventions.

Postgraduate management: four candidate’s theses are protected, two postgraduate students work.

She has repeatedly received grants for research from universities in Hale and Sheffield (UK) and since 2002 as a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Material Science at the University of Sheffield.

L.O. Snizhko has repeatedly been thanked for long-term and conscientious work on training and education of engineers.
