XI International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Chemistry and Modern Technologies”
On December 06-07, 2023, the XI International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference was held at the “Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University” students of higher education and young scientists “Chemistry and modern technologies”.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss topical issues of the development of chemistry, chemical and integrated technologies, cooperation between institutions of higher education, integration of international scientific research, as well as identifying, stimulating and supporting the scientific and creative potential of young people, ensuring exchange views on the problems and issues of our time.
The conference was co-organized by Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar and international co-organizers:
- Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan,
- Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagin,
- South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov.
Conference participants were addressed with welcoming words:
- SUHYY Kostyantyn, acting Rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, PhD, Professor;
- from the international co-organizer of the conference – ZHEKEEV Malik, Ph.D., professor of the Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov (Kazakhstan);
- Vargalyuk Viktor – Doctor of Science, Professor of the Department of Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (Dnipro, Ukraine).
Plenary reports on modern directions in chemical technologies were given by young scientists of the State Technical University of UDHTU: Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor of the Department of TNR and E Margarita SKIBA, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor of the Department of F and TOR Oleg FARAT. Regarding the scientific and technical development of PJSC “Ukrtatnafta”, the chief technologist Vasyl BOHUN reported. A plenary report was also presented by the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Yuliya RASSUKANA, Ph.D., professor, deputy director; Alyona CHEREDNICHENKO). The report of RATNAVIR Harsha, Dr.Ing., professor of the Norwegian University of Natural Sciences (Oslo, Norway), vice-president of the European Water Association: “Digital tools in water treatment and wastewater treatment” was informative and relevant.< /p>
In total, more than 400 participants sent their materials to the conference, of which more than a hundred are students of the State University of Ukraine. Students and young scientists from universities and other educational institutions of Ukraine gave interesting and vivid reports.
Twelve sections worked fruitfully at the conference in the areas of chemistry, chemical technologies, biotechnology, life safety, as well as computer science, mechanical engineering, energy, economic and humanitarian issues.
The work of section XII “Scientific works of student youth – students of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, lyceums, college students” was especially rich. The section received 80 report abstracts and more than 30 participants presented oral online reports.
The event took place thanks to the support of the management of the State Educational Institution of UDHTU, the active position of the departments of the State Educational Institution of UDHTU, and the organizational support of the department of scientific research work of students.
