“Students’ Spring 2019”: Faculties of Computer Science and Engineering, Technology of Inorganic Substances
On March 28, the second concert of the “Students’ Spring 2019” festival took place within the walls of the Ukrainian State Chemical-Technological University. The competition was attended by the teams of Computer Science and Engineering faculty (CS&E) and that of Technology of Inorganic Substances (IST).
The first team that appeared on stage was the team of the Faculty of CS&E, which introduced its own shadow play “The Night Before Students’ Spring.” At the heart of the storyline was a story about a guy who set out on a search for “Magic Melody.” During the performance of the students the spectators could enjoy a lot of choreographic numbers of different genres, playing on musical instruments, performing songs, including the author’s, as well as the bit box.
Following the representatives of CS&E faculty, the students of IST faculty demonstrated their talents. The gem of the team’s performance was figure skating on the rollers performed by the group “The Pearls” and the solo from their mentor, a student of IST faculty Elizaveta Derevyanko. Besides, the audience welcomed heartily the songs performed by students of the faculty, contemporary dance and recitation of the poem. The concert culminated in a burlesque in which the student Alexander Shane appeared in the likeness of Arthur Pirozhkov.
