February 16, 2023 is the last day of classes for the second stream of students of advanced training courses for pedagogical and research-pedagogical workers of secondary education institutions of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Secondly, the experienced lecturers of the USUCT, including professors: Ryzhova O.P., Golichenko O.A., Tertyshna O.V., Sverdlikovska O.S., associate professors: Rudneva L.L., Sidashenko O.I., conducted the workshop “Chemistry for life” in the form of lectures and presentation video lessons of laboratory works for teachers of chemistry and biology (Dnipro, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih). But for the first time, for science teachers, the lecture-workshop on the topic: “Information technologies in the professional activity of the teacher” turned out to be unexpected, but, as it turned out, very useful and interesting. I.G. Balanenko, candidate physics and mathematics of Sciences, associate professor of the department of specialized computer systems, confidently, having mathematical training and extensive experience in pedagogical work, with teaching skill introduced teachers to educational software resources, interactive virtual boards, cloud technologies, etc.

The result of the teacher training courses is the establishment of direct contacts with graduates of lyceums, schools and gymnasiums by conducting online video lessons of laboratory work (in the photo – students of the Communal Educational Institution “Specialized school No. 67 of ecological and economic profile” of the Dnipro City Council take online lessons on the topics “Crystalline and amorphous substances” and “Water quality indicators. Water hardness and methods of its elimination” with chemistry teachers, course participants – L.P. Trofimenko, O.E. Artemieva).

In the future, training courses for teachers of other disciplines will be held. We invite those who wish to take part in the next sessions of the courses!
