Field lesson in the discipline “Intellectual property”

Distance learning has made adjustments to student life – the time spent at the computer has increased; limited possibility of live communication with teachers and classmates; electronic sources are used for convenience.

On May 17, 2023, the associate professor of the Department of Innovative Engineering N.G. Bannyk held an on-site class on the subject “Intellectual property” for students of the Faculty of Science and Technology (groups 5-MEH-22 and 5-ETT-22). Students together with the teacher visited the patent department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Universal Library named after First teachers Cyril and Methodius.

After getting acquainted with the library and its departments, the students began to perform tasks for practical work on searching for patents on the topic of the master’s thesis. Working with paper versions of patents of Ukraine, mutual assistance in finding the necessary information and communication with classmates was very much enjoyed by all students.

In the future, we plan to hold such classes on an ongoing basis and expand cooperation with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Universal Library named after Cyril and Methodius and other educational institutions.

We invite everyone who wishes to join our classes in the discipline “Intellectual property”.
