Vasyl Ivanovych Kravets

Head of the Department, associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.

He has been working at the Department since 1984. Since 2000, the head of the Department. He defended his PhD thesis in 1991 at the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering on the theme “Development of the unit for granulation of lignite flour and methods of its calculation”. Specialty 05.04.09.

Scientific interests – development of technology and equipment for thin and fine grinding. Published more than 30 scientific works, including 7 copyright certificates and patents.

Petro Petrovych Ermakov

Petro Petrovych Ermakov

Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences.

Works as a professor at the Department since 2005. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in 1984, a doctor’s degree in 1995 on the topic “Autoclaving mass-exchange equipment of the food industry”. Scientific interests include cavitation, lubricating and cooling liquids, torsion informatics, water purification, ecology. Published 100 articles, 100 reports and theses at scientific conferences, 30 certificates of authorship and patents. Under his scientific guidance, 1 candidate’s dissertation is defended.

Ihor Pavlovych Kazimirov

Ihor Pavlovych Kazimirov

Associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.

He graduated from DCTI in 1982 with the specialty “Machines and technology for processing plastics into articles and parts”. Mechanical engineer. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 05.02.04 – Friction and wear in motors on the topic “Calculation and design of sliding bearings for main pump units of oil pipelines”. Works at the department since 2010.

Scientific interests – geometrical modeling of CAD components of chemical and technological equipment. I have 26 scientific publications. Conducts practical work. He is engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work.

Yurii Mykolaiovych Vakhalin

Yurii Mykolaiovych Vakhalin

Associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.

Has been working at the Department since 1995. Graduated from DMI in 1976. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 05.15.11 – “Physical processes of mining production” on the theme “Development of a method for intensification of mechanical drilling of rocks by reducing the array by surface cooling”.

Scientific interests – geometrical modeling in CAD of details of chemical and technological equipment. Has 28 scientific publications. She gives lectures on the course “Design geometry, engineering and computer graphics”, conducts laboratory and practical work. He is involved in the development of educational-methodical literature, scientific research work.

Volodymyr Vasiliovych Babets

Associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.

Works at the department since 2000. Graduated from DMI in 1976. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 5.05.05.06 – “Automechanics and telemechanics” on the topic “Substantiation and development of parameters of storage and dispensing device and technology of preparation of iron manganese nodules for transportation”.

Scientific interests – geometrical modeling of CAD components of chemical and technological equipment. Has 20 scientific publications. Conducts practical works. He is engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work.

Stanislav Viacheslavovych Kovaliov

Stanislav Viacheslavovych Kovaliov

Associate professor, candidate of chemical sciences.

Works at the department since 2000. From 2000 to 2001 – assistant of the Department of machine parts. Since 2002, he has been working as an assistant professor of the Department of Applied Mechanics (machine parts). In 2001 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Getting and Properties of Lead Dioxide” in the specialty 02.00.05 – Electrochemistry.

Scientific interests – reception of new electrode materials used as electrocatalysts for synthesis of inorganic substances and for oxidation of organic substances in the process of purification of drinking water; the application of metallic, oxide and organic coatings with improved properties with the help of force fields. From 1996 to 2011, there are 27 scientific publications. She gives lectures on courses in Theory of Mechanisms and Machines and Parts of Machines, conducts laboratory and practical work, runs coursework Designing. Engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work.

Worked at the Department since 1981 in positions: trainee teacher, engineer, junior researcher, researcher. From 1990 to 2008 – Assistant. From 2008 to present – senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Mechanics (parts of machines).

Scientific interests – the use of polymer compositions and modified wood in the nodes of friction machines. She gives lectures, conducts course design, conducts laboratory and practical work. Engaged in the development of teaching and research literature, research work. He is a deputy of the dean of the mechanical faculty.

Olena Mykolaiivna Hnatko

Olena Mykolaiivna Hnatko

Senior Lecturer.

Since 2002, she has been working as an assistant at the Department of Applied Mechanics (machine parts) at the USUCT. From 2014, she is a senior lecturer in the Department and teaches course design, laboratory and practical classes on the theory of mechanisms and machines, machine parts, and applied mechanics.

She is engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work. From September 2014, she serves as Deputy Dean of the Mechanical faculty. Scientific interests include the development of technologies of electroactivated water solutions: solutions for environmental and food safety. Participation in international conferences with the publication of 5 theses of reports.

He has been working at USUCT since 2000. From 2000 till 2010 – assistant of the Department of engineering graphics. Since 2010, he has been working as a senior lecturer in the engineering graphics department. In 2002, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the theme: “Development of elastomeric compositions containing crushed vulcanizate” in specialty 05.17.06 – Technology of polymeric and composite materials.

Scientific interests – geometrical modeling of CAD components of chemical and technological equipment. From 1998 to 2016 has 18 scientific publications. He lectures on the course “Descriptive geometry, engineering and computer graphics”, conducts laboratory and practical work, supervises course designing, conducting olympiads in descriptive geometry, engineering and computer graphics. He is engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work.

Conducts practical and laboratory work, supervises course designing. Scientific interests are mathematical modeling of technological processes of metals processing by embossing.

From 2005 till now has been working as an assistant of the Department of applied mechanics (parts of machines). By specialty mechanical engineer.

Responsible for rating cards of teachers and the department as a whole. Conducts laboratory and practical classes, course projects. He is engaged in the development of educational-methodical literature, research work, participates in public work. In coauthority he prepared a manual. Published 5 articles and 12 theses.

Graduated from NMU in 2002. Specialty: “Enrichment of minerals”.

Since 2003 till now – assistant of the Department of applied mechanics (engineering graphics).

Conducts practical and laboratory work. Scientific interests are geometrical modeling of CAD components of chemical and technological equipment. From 2003 to 2016 has 8 scientific publications.

Works at the Department of Applied Mechanics (parts of machines) since 1981. From 1981 to 2013 – assistant of the Department.

He taught course design, laboratory and practical classes on the theory of mechanisms and machines, machine parts, applied mechanics. He is engaged in the development of teaching-methodical literature, research work. From 2013 – the engineer of the department. He takes an active part in the social life of the department. Since January 2015 – responsible for the Mechanical Engineering Faculty.

Graduated from DCTI (evening department) in 1990 in the specialty “Machines and Apparatus of Chemical Production”, having received a qualification – mechanical engineer. 1990 – 1995 – senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Applied Mechanics (machine parts). Since 1995, she has taken a position as a laboratory assistant of the mentioned department. Engaged in economic activity and takes an active part in the public life of the department.
