In December 2021 – February 2022, the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for School Youth together with the public organization “Ecological Club “Eremurus” with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Bureau of Ecology of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church is holding the All-Ukrainian competition of youth projects on energy saving” Energy and environment” under the slogan “Let’s save energy – save the Planet!”

The competition was held with the aim of finding and supporting gifted student youth, involving them in educational and practical activities on the issues of energy efficiency and rational use of resources. In total, more than 200 projects were submitted under 5 nominations.

According to the decision of a competent jury, 87 of the best students were selected to participate in the finals of the full-time stage.

In the nomination “Project on energy saving, energy efficiency or renewable energy sources (RES)” among others, the work of pupils of the Communal
extracurricular educational institution “Center for ecological and naturalistic creativity of schoolchildren” Daria Pototska, Antonenko Denys won < strong>“Modern biodegradable polymer for the production of disposable tableware” under the leadership of Oleg Stanislavovych Kabat, head of the Department of Innovative Engineering.
