PROJECT “TECH SUMMER FOR TEACHERS BOOTCAMP” FROM IT COMPANY SOFTSERVE
Tech Summer for Teachers is an intensive online course for the educational community from the SoftServe company. Five webinars, five experts from the SoftServe company, five relevant topics – from Internet security and creating inclusive products to the peculiarities of English in IT:
- Trends in Life Science
- Accessibility Testing, experience in creating inclusive products
- English in IT: Myths and Reality
- Cybersecurity education – trends and focus
- Nonviolent communication (communication of understanding).
The workshops were attended by more than 400 participants, among whom were associate professors of the department of information systems Oksana Anatoliivna Lyashenko and Solodka Nataliya Oleksandrivna.
The most interesting were the excursion into the close interweaving of information technologies and developments in the medical field and the discussion of such an important topic as inclusion. During the online meeting, they talked about technologies that help make the web space accessible to everyone, the possibility of using a computer for people who cannot see and hear at the same time, world and Ukrainian standards for the accessibility of web content.
In the framework of the course, dozens of tasks and interesting ideas were considered, but most importantly, inspiration was received before the start of a new difficult academic year.
