“Financial literacy” training
On June 4, 2024, a Financial Literacy training was held on the basis of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology for students and scientific and pedagogical staff of the institution by the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region with the assistance of Federation of employers’ organizations. The event is devoted to highlighting the aspects of financial literacy of society and the development of entrepreneurship as integral components of the country’s development, its financial stability, economic freedom and competitiveness.
Speaker – Anzhelika Kulikova, deputy head of the personal income tax administration department of the personal taxation department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The objectives of the training were to deepen the knowledge of regulatory support of the national financial and tax systems and to develop the skills to make successful financial decisions. Financial literacy is an extremely important skill that helps each of us effectively manage our finances, save and multiply our funds, and ensure a stable future.
Training participants received answers to topical issues of taxation and financial literacy in a lively conversation: what helps to become financially resistant to economic shocks, how to ensure the necessary level of well-being at the level of the family and the country as a whole in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
This event provided an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in the field of personal finance management, understanding of such key competencies as entrepreneurship, taxation and financial literacy in various spheres of activity.
Training for participants became one of the real ways to increase the level of competence for education seekers and scientific and pedagogical workers of the Ukrainian State University of Chemistry and Technology.
