The first head of the Department of Management was associate professor, candidate of economic sciences Volodymyr Yevgeniiovych Zaitsev, who headed it until the year 2000.

In 2001-2005, the Department of Management was headed by associate professor, candidate of economic sciences, Nina Sergiivna Makarova.

In 2006-2013, the Department of Management was headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Oleksandr Ivlev.

In 2013-2016, the Department was headed by professor, doctor of economic sciences Alla Mikhailovna Tkachenko.

Since September 2016, the Department was headed by associate professor, doctor of economic sciences Tetyana Oleksandrivna Pozhueva.

In 2000, the Department carried out the first issue of specialists: 72 full-time students. For the whole period of existence, the Department of Management has carried out 15 issues: 415 full-time students, 484 full-time students and 291 students at the retraining faculty, which collects 1,199 people; Bachelors: 541 day and 509 correspondence forms of study, together – 1050 persons; masters in full-time form of study – 89 people, externa – 22 bachelors and 14 specialists. The vast majority of graduates work in their specialty. Among the graduates of the Department, there are heads of divisions of industrial enterprises, commercial and banking institutions.
