Excursion to the Museum of Technology “Time Machines”
On September 8, students of groups 1MIT-23 and 2MITt-23 together with the curator Olena Chorna visited the one-of-a-kind Technical Museum “Time Machines”, located at Mandrykivska Street, 44.
The territory of the museum contains many interesting and useful exhibits of past years for every taste.
The peculiarity of this museum is that all exhibits are active, and some are supplemented with various activities. For example, it was possible to hear the historical sounds of radios, payphones, and car signals, and by scanning a QR code, students could learn additional information or even see a virtual model in augmented reality.
Cars, motorcycles, scooters, gliders, speedboats, tracked and special equipment, gaming and music machines – each thing has its own unique history of origin and restoration.
What car could replace the famous “Zaporozhets”? Which Dnipro inventor single-handedly developed and assembled his own 4 cars? All this was kindly explained by the tour guide, thanks to which the visit to the museum became an unforgettable and informative adventure for everyone.
The highlight of the museum is a special project from DTEK Dnipro Electric Grids #Storks, which was started to preserve the white stork population in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Great gratitude to the museum staff and its inspired director Mikhail Prudnikov for creating such an important place where you can touch history!
