Associate professor of the department of philology and translation Lilia Leonidivna Karmazina conducted a linguistic and regional studies game and familiarized the event participants with the lexical, grammatical and cultural features of the English language.

The purpose of the meeting was to deepen the knowledge of the participants about the places of interest in London, activate the use of lexical units, improve listening skills, increase the ability to participate in foreign language communication, develop creative attention and logical thinking, as well as foster respect for cultural diversity and the need to learn about world culture.

To successfully solve the quiz tasks, the participants had to immerse themselves in the English language and London culture, solving various quest tasks, answering questions and recognizing famous historical landmarks.

So, learning a foreign language is a process that is not only useful, but also incredibly interesting.
