Department of Organic Substances and Pharmaceuticals is the graduating department at the Faculty of Organic Substances, which trains specialists in pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The Department trains specialists in two directions:

” Technology of Pharmaceuticals “

“Chemical Technology of Organic Substances”

The specialty “Technology of Pharmaceuticals” allows to get the qualification of chemist-technologist in the field of industrial manufacture of medicines.

The specialty “Chemical technology of organic substances” trains specialists to produce:

• organic matter
• polymers
• plasticizers
• derivatives and auxiliary substances for polymeric materials,
• synthetic fuel and lubricants,
• solvents and extractors
• chemical plant protection products,
• raw materials for the production of medicines and others

The training of specialists at the faculty is carried out according to the following specializations:

• technology of organic synthesis
• technology of biologically active preparations
• technology of surfactants and synthetic detergents

Today the staff of the Department has more than 21 people, including 3 professors, doctors of chemical sciences, highly skilled teachers, scientific and technical workers, post-graduate students and experienced auxiliary staff.
