In 1973, he graduated from “DCTI in the specialty “Technology of Inorganic Substances and Chemical Fertilizers” and received a qualification – an engineer-chemist-technologist.

In 2011 he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Physical and chemical bases and technology of nanosized powders of stabilized zirconium dioxide” in the direction 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances. / Member of the Specialized Academic Council D 08.078.02 on the protection of doctoral (PhD) theses.

Olexander A Pivovarov

Doctor of technical sciences, Professor

In 1973, he graduated from “DCTI” in “Chemical Engineering and Apparatus Engineering” and received a qualification as an engineer mechanic.

 In 1978, he defended his candidate’s thesis, and in 1991 – his doctoral dissertation “Theoretical Foundations and Technology of Synthesis of Velvet – Nitrogen Fertilizer of Long-term Efficiency”. Both dissertations were defended in the direction 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances.

He was a speakerwith scientific reports in Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Croatia, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Russia, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Moldova.

He was a co-author of the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference on NATO Support for Water Technology and Counteraction to Chemical, Biological and Radiation Terrorism.

He is the Chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Researchers of the International Association “Risk Management for Preventive Medicine”, headquartered in Tokyo (Japan); Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Academic Council D 08.078.02 on the defense of doctoral and master’s theses; a member of the expert council on the examination of dissertations on the technology of the food, light and chemical industry of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Scientific interests: theoretical and applied researches of non-equilibrium low-temperature plasma in the technology of inorganic substances and other branches of science and production.

Publications: author of 7 monographs, 1 textbook, co-author of more than 320 scientific publications, author’s certificates, patents and abstracts at symposiums and scientific-practical conferences of different levels. Under his guidance, 9 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations have been defended.

In 1955, he graduated from the “DCTI” in “Chemical Technology of Fuel” and received a qualification – an engineer-technologist.

In 1991, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic “Physicochemical regularities of retention of aromatic and heterocyclic compounds in gas-liquid chromatography” in the direction 02.00.20 – chromatography.

Member of the Specialized Academic Council D 08.078.02 on the protection of doctoral (candidate’s) dissertations.

Disciplines he teaches: “Rationalization of anthropogenic load on the natural environment”, “Technoecology”, “General ecology and neoecology”.

Scientific interests: studying the nature of intermolecular interaction in specific systems in gas-liquid chromatography and using this method for the distribution and analysis of chemical products of thermal processing of coal.

Publications: author of 3 monographs, co-author of more than 290 scientific works.

Under his guidance 3 candidate theses have been defended.

In 1971, he graduated from “DCTI” on a specialty “Technology of electrochemical manufactures” and received a qualification – an engineer-chemist-technologist.

In 1991 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Electrochemicals of ordered organic supramolecular structures: Langmuir monolayers, Langmuir-Bloschepolyslaves and processes in them” in the direction 02.00.05 – Electrochemistry.

In 1969, he graduated from “DCTI” on the specialty “Technology of Inorganic Substances and Chemical Fertilizers” and received a qualification – an engineer-chemist-technologist.

In 1977, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Investigation of the absorption of sulfuric anhydride by a solution of sodium sulfite” in the direction 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances.

From 1984-1988, 1996-2000 he taught in French the discipline “Technology of Inorganic Substances” and “Ecology” at the University of Conakry of the Republic of Guinea.

In 1999,she defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Preparation of iron oxide by chemical enrichment of iron-containing concentrates” in the direction 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances. Since 2010, the Scientific Secretary of the Specialized Academic Council D 08.078.02 for the protection of doctor’s (candidate’s) dissertations in the specialties:

– 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances,

– 05.17.08 – Processes and equipment of chemical technology,

– 05.17.11 – Technology of refractory nonmetallic materials.

In 2010, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Production of zirconium-containing compounds from zircon Malyshevsky deposit” in the direction 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances.

Since 2011, he has been Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Inorganic Substances.

In 2017,she defended her Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Preparation of sorbents on the basis of zirconium (IV) and aluminum (III) oxyhydroxides by sol-gel method” in specialty 05.17.01 – Technology of inorganic substances.

From 2016 to 2019, a junior researcher at the Inorganic Substances and ElectrochemistryDepartments and a participant of the Research Work of Integrated Measures for the Purification and Disinfection of Drinking Water. “

Since 2016, she is a participant of international projects “Water Harmony – Integration of Education, Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (Water Harmony II), project number CPEA-2015/10036 (https://www.waterh.net/en/) and Harmonization of Diploma Water Education (Water Harmony) (http://waterh.eu).

Scientific interests: development of technology for the production of sorbents on the basis of metal oxyhydroxides for water purification.

Scientific interests: development of technologies for the extraction of inorganic substances from cathodolyminofores, utilization of them and glass of spent television kinescopes and computer monitors, and further processing them into valuable inorganic materials for increasing the coefficient of use of potential secondary resources and preventing negative environmental impacts.

In 1998,he graduated from DCTI postgraduate study program in “Technology of Inorganic Substances”.

Worked as a Senior Researcher at the Laboratory for the Technology of Fine Inorganic Synthesis.

Since 1993, he has been teaching at the department.

In 2012,she graduated from the postgraduate study program. She has been working at the Department since 2012. She conducts laboratory and practical classes.

Scientific interests: utilization of liquid iron-containing wastes of chemical and metallurgical industries, mathematical modeling of chemisorption of gas-liquid chemical systems.
