DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY AND UKRAINIAN STUDIES

The Department conducts research work on the topic: “Philosophical and Cultural Discourses: Measurements of Modern Life” (beginning of 01. 2016, the end of 12th of 2018).

The head is the head of the Department of philosophy Anatolii Hryhorovych Chichkov. Responsible performer – candidate of philosophical sciences, associate professor of the department Bashkeeva Olena Mykolaivna.

Object of study:

  • features of contemporary philosophical discourse, transformational processes in the ideological, spiritual and value aspects of human existence and moral changes in society,
  • logical-linguistic and philosophical and scientific conditions of the “linguistic turn” as a “basic” turn in the transformational processes of the philosophy of the twentieth century. and his tendencies in contemporary philosophical discourse,
  • the productivity and relevance of theoretical and methodological approaches in the study of the transformational processes of the sociocultural and metaphysical space,
  • mentality and self-identification of a person, fundamental changes in the mental space of subjects; exploration of ontological criticism of Cogito;
  • culture as an axiological and anthropological phenomenon; Man as the subject of network communications in modern cyberculture, the bifurcation processes of individual and mass consciousness have been established.

The purpose of the research is to identify the essential philosophical and ideological and value trends of human existence in a globalized world. Explore the features of the modern philosophical-ideological paradigm, the main historical-philosophical, cultural-cultural categories, the transformations of ideological-methodological and value meanings of the being of modern man.

Methods of research – analytical-reflexive, dialectical, hermeneutical, structural-systemic, synergetic, phenomenological; general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, idealization, abstraction.

The theme of the SRW of the scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Philosophy in 2010-2015 was “Philosophical and Worldview and Values ​​Fundamentals of Human Being in the Conditions of Globalization”.

As a result of the research, the influence of modern philosophical and ideological problems on the transformation of the world outlook and the actions of people in the conditions of globalization was investigated. The explication of transformational processes in contemporary philosophical and cultural discourse and the value aspects of human existence have been made, fundamental changes in the mental space of subjects, including network communications in modern cyberculture, have been discovered.

The results of the research work have been introduced into the educational process of the SHEI USUCT at the teaching of disciplines “History of Ukrainian Culture”, “Philosophy”, “Philosophical Anthropology”, “Religious Studies”, “Ethics”, “Logic” for students of all forms of education (the act of implementation from 11/5/2015) .

According to the results of the SRW published:

  • 1 article in the foreign journal included in the science-computer databases;
  • 2 dictionary reference;
  • 13 articles in the list of scientific professional editions of Ukraine;
  • 118 theses of reports at conferences of various levels, not included in the science-computer databases;
  • 18 guidelines;
  • 1 candidate’s dissertation on the history of philosophy is protected (Bashkeev O.M.).

A.H. Chichkov, Head of the Department of Philosophy. Research work was conducted on the theme: “Reflection of transformations of philosophical discourse”. By results of work:

  • published 5 articles
  • Participated in international and all-Ukrainian conferences (published abstracts),
  • published methodical developments, abstract of course of lectures on discipline “Philosophy”,
  • trained postgraduates and students to speak at scientific conferences, published in co-authorship with them abstracts (6),
  • was an official opponent in defense of 7 dissertations.

Bashkeeva O.M. Assosiate Professor. The research work on the topic “Axiology of ethno-national mentality” was conducted. The results of the work were:

  • D. thesis was defended on the topic “Features of the genesis of the category” mentality “(historical and philosophical analysis) at the Dnipropetrovsk National University named after Oles Gonchar (2011).
  • publication of 15 articles,
  • methodical developments, abstracts of courses of lectures on disciplines “History of Ukrainian culture”, “Philosophical anthropology”
  • participated in 4 international conferences,
  • preparation of students for speeches, publication in co-authorship with theses (33),
  • Work on the doctoral dissertation is underway, its theme is approved: “The phenomenon of mental revolutions (historical and philosophical analysis)”.

Kakurina I.I., Associate Professor. The research work on the topic “The role of the national tradition in the development of culture” was conducted. The results of the work were:

  • participation in conferences (8),
  • the publication of methodological guidelines, notes on lectures on disciplines “History of Ukrainian Culture”, “Ethics of Business Communication”,
  • publication of 38 theses in co-authorship with students.

Paterylo O.M., teacher. The research work on the topic “Problem of the subject in the philosophy of postmodern” was conducted. By results of work:

  • published 2 methodical instructions, abstract of the course of lectures on discipline “Philosophy”,
  • published 2 articles
  • Prepared performances of students for participation in the work of scientific conferences, published in co-authorship with them abstracts (5).

Petrushin O. O., lecturer. Research work was carried out on the theme: “Metaphysical rationale for ethics”. The results of the work were:

  • published 4 articles
  • written and published 1 methodical instructions;
  • participated in 11 international conferences,
  • has prepared 3 students for participation in the work of scientific conferences, published in co-authorship with them abstracts (3).

SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH WORK WITH STUDENTS

Research work with students is conducted by all faculty members. She was reflected in the work of the humanitarian section of scientific student conferences held at the university:

  • International conference “Trans – Mech – Art – Chem” (Section “Art” 2004, 2008, 2012)
  • International scientific and technical conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists “Chemistry and modern technologies” (Section “Spiritual foundations of human existence in the conditions of globalization of the modern world”, 2005, 2010, 2013, 2015)

In 2014, the Department of Philosophy held the All-Ukrainian Internet Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Shevchenko Discourse of the present” (devoted to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Kobzar)

In 2016, the Department organized and conducted an Internet conference devoted to the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence “Spiritual Origins of Ukrainian Society”.
