Patriotic event at the SEI USUCT on the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion
On February 24, 2025, a patriotic event was held at the National Research Institute of the State Technical University of Ukraine, “And the time will come when one will say: “Glory to Ukraine!”, and millions will answer: “Glory to the heroes!”, dedicated to the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This date forever changed the lives of Ukrainians, dividing it into “before” and “after.” We remember those who gave their lives for our freedom, support those who continue the struggle, and believe in future victory.
The participants of the event honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.
The Rector of UDUNT, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Konstantyn Sukhyi noted that the university has been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, and displaced persons since the first days of the war. Despite all the trials, education remains an important front – knowledge and technology will become the basis for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the victory.
The acting director of the SEI of the USUCT, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Olga Sverdlikovska also addressed the audience. She emphasized that every Ukrainian today brings victory closer with their actions – on the front line, in the rear, in their country and abroad. She thanked the military for the opportunity to live, study, work and build the future together.
At the end of the event, the participants laid flowers to the memorial flag dedicated to students, graduates, relatives of teachers and employees of the SEI of the USUCT who died defending Ukraine.
The event was organized by the student council of the SEI of the USUCT and tour guides of the Institute’s History Museum. The event was held with the support of the trade union committee.
Thank you to everyone who joined. Ukraine will win!
