Opening of the “Periodic System of Chemical Elements” art object
On December 22, 2023, the Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University accepted an extraordinary and unique gift from the company TOV “Interkerama” (Dnipro). It is a 240 x 120 cm ceramic granite slab with a periodic table of chemical elements on its surface. The art object was created on the initiative of graduates of the Department of Ceramics, Glass and Building Materials.
The event was attended by:
- Acting General Director of Interkerama LLC Vyacheslav Hrynyov,
- UDHTU graduates – director of production Maxim Solomniuk, chief technologist Mykhailo Filatov, director of marketing Olena Kalyuzhna, head of the department of development and implementation of new designs Alla Polivanova,
- acting rector of UDUNT Kostyantyn Sukhii,
- employees of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Building Materials,
- employees and students of the university.
This impressive piece of art will not only decorate the hall of the university, but will also be extremely useful for students and teachers of our faculties.
Representatives of “Interkerama” LLC noted the importance of supporting young scientists and expressed the hope that this gift will promote cooperation between business and science.
The second part of the meeting took place in face-to-face format. Representatives of the state-of-the-art production of “Interkerama” LLC conducted a presentation of the company for students and graduates of the university, answered questions about dual education, practice and employment.
