The theme of the defended dissertation: Scientific and technical bases for the development of polymeric materials with ionic conductivity

Scientific interests:

  • search for regenerative fatty raw materials, and the development of methods of synthesis on its basis of new modifiers for polymeric materials (lacquer, paint, rubber, polymer composite materials);
  • development of methods of synthesis of new binders and coatings with a high complex of operational properties;
  • synthesis and study of the properties of new heterogeneous catalysts of esterification reactions, alcohol abuse and acidolysis based on ionogenic polymers;
  • development of methods for the synthesis of new polymeric electrolytes and membranes for high-energy sources of current and water treatment;
  • coatings with anticorrosive, heat-insulating, heat-protective and special properties for aviation, rocket and space technology, enterprises of the nuclear fuel cycle.

The thermoregulatory and heat-shielding coatings for the protection of new samples of rocket and space technology of the State Enterprise “Design Bureau” Pivdenne “(Dnipropetrovsk) have been developed and under implementation.

  • Methodology and organization of scientific research
  • Scientific researches on the theme of master’s work

Publications: more than 100 publications, including 45 articles defined by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine as special scientific editions, and 10 copyright certificates and patents for invention. He is co-author of a training manual with a stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science and a reference book on vegetable oils

Management of post-graduate students and doctoral candidates: 3 candidate’s theses are supervised, 1 candidate of doctor’s degree and 1 candidate of candidate’s thesis work

The theme of the defended dissertation: Synthesis and use of reactive oligomers with a heat-resistant silicon-organic unit

Scientific interests:

  • Perspective applied and fundamental researches in the field of development of methods of synthesis of new elementorganic polymers and polymeric materials.
  • Development of methods for the synthesis of silicon, titanium and organophosphorus compounds with functional groups in the hydrocarbon radical (alcohols, amines, isocyanates, epoxides), and the creation of new polymeric materials of special purpose (polyurethanes and polyethoxides) on their basis.

The following works were introduced in production:

use of waste adipic acid production in the construction industry in the manufacture of solutions and heavy concretes at 13 enterprises in the city of Dnipropetrovsk and Ukraine;

synthesis of low-toxic carbohydroformaldehyde resin KF-MTU (Velyky Bichkivsky forestry complex, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast) and its use of production of low-toxic wood particle board with E-1 emission class (Teresvyansky DOC);

obtaining self-compacting polyurethane adhesive “Germetol” (LLC “NVO Ukrpolikhimsintez”, Dnipropetrovsk);

production of anticorrosive composition “Erokor” and polyurethane foam composition of thermal insulation purpose (LLC “NVO Ukrpolichismsintes”, Dnipropetrovsk);

obtaining of thermosetting adhesive DAKSS for gluing of inflatable boats (OOO “NVO Ukrpolichismsintes”)

  • Technology of soap and detergents
  • Technology of food surface-active substances
  • Equipment for the production of wood-based panels and plastics

Publications: more than 366 publications, including 110 articles defined by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine as special scientific editions, and 97 author’s patents and patents for invention. He is co-author of 1 monograph and 4 textbooks.
