On December 14, 2023, the Department of Information Systems completed the process of defending the qualification papers of applicants of the second (master’s) level under the educational program “Computer Science”. The chairman of the examination commission was Slesarev Volodymyr Viktorovych, doctor of technical sciences, professor of the department of system analysis and management of NTU “Dniprovsk Polytechnic” was invited. Candidates of technical sciences, associate professors of the Department of Information Systems Naumenko Nataliya Yuriivna and Solodka Nataliya Oleksandrivna were also members of the commission.

According to the norms established by the university regarding the checking of academic texts for cases of plagiarism, theses were subject to early checking for textual overlaps. The active participation of students of the Department of Information Systems in the implementation of their own projects contributes to their successful passing of control for the detection of plagiarism and contributes to the development of a high degree of academic culture. During the defense of the qualification papers, not only the issue of using modern technologies and research was considered, but also attention was paid to the practical use of the obtained results in the papers.

22 graduates of the Department of Information Systems were awarded the qualification of Master of Computer Science, three of whom received diplomas with honors. First of all, we wish the graduates a peaceful future and hope that the acquired skills and competencies create a reliable basis for further successful development in their professional careers.
