Annual All-Ukrainian Conference “Ukraine – the World: Dialogue of Cultures”
The annual All-Ukrainian Internet Conference of Higher Education Students and Young Scientists “UKRAINE – WORLD: DIALOGUE OF CULTURES” (November 21, 2024) was held at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology. The conference is dedicated to the International Day of Philosophy.
The conference was co-organized by Oles Honchar Dnipro National University and the University of Customs and Finance (Dnipro).
The topics of the conference are always striking in their diversity: traditional areas dedicated to the dialogue of national cultures in various forms, personality in the dimensions of psychological science; research in psychology, education, digitalization, problems of modern international relations, business in the context of globalization, as well as the cultural heritage of Ukraine and the world in modern physical education.
The purpose of the conference was to identify the scientific and creative potential of young people, provide a platform for the free exchange of ideas, stimulate and support scientific activity, and increase the efficiency of independent work.
The conference participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of USUST Yuriy PROYDAK, Acting Director of the National Research Institute of USUCT Olga SVERDLIKOVSKA, Rector of the University of Customs and Finance Dmytro BOCHAROV, Head of the Department of International Relations of Oles Honchar DNU Ihor ISCHCHENKO, Head of the Department of Expertise of Cultural Values and Design of the University of Customs and Finance Olga KALASHNIKOVA, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Ukrainian Studies of the National Research Institute of USUCT Anatoliy CHYCHKOV.
About a hundred participants sent their materials to the conference. Students and young scientists from universities gave interesting and vivid reports, including:
- KRYVCHENKO Dmytro reported on the development of intercultural dialogue;
- LAZORKINA Anastasia shared about anxieties and patterns;
- DULICHENKO Yana told about the prevention needed to overcome the syndrome of “professional burnout”;
- SHEVCHENKO Olesya about the foundation of mental health;
- NETSVITAEVA Natalia told about communication conflicts and how to resolve them;
- BILOVODENKO Yerofey about the influence of parents on the formation of self-esteem in a child;
- KHOMIDOVA Amina about the dialogue of national cultures of Ukraine and the South Korea.
- A great deal of interest was aroused by the report with an interesting presentation by NEKRASA Valeria – Dnieper Sculptural Miniatures – a Polyphonic Choir of Artists.
A total of 20 young scientists from three universities gave reports. The discussions and debates were attended by associate professors of the National Institute of Fine Arts of the Ukrainian State Technical University BORYSOV Vladislav, VOLKOV Dmytro, RYABIK Pavlo, and associate professor of the University of Customs and Finance BASHKEIEV Olena.
The event was held thanks to the support of the leadership of USUST, the National Research Institute of USUCT, the active position of the staff of the Department of Philosophy and Ukrainian Studies led by the head Anatoly CHICHKOV, the deputy head of the scientific organizing committee Iryna KAKURINIA, and the organizational support of the department of scientific research of students of the National Research Institute of UDCTU.
