Yaroslav Biankin: from the school team to the Italian championship
Yaroslava Byankina, a student of group 2-МР-63 of UDHTU, has an impressive 10-year experience in volleyball. Her path began in her school years, when she joined team No. 31, and later moved to DYUUSA No. 1 in Dnipro under the guidance of coach Milko Anatoly Stepanovich.
Yaroslava actively trained in beach volleyball, winning 3rd place at the Championship of Ukraine under 16 years of age and repeatedly entering the top 5 teams of the Championship of Ukraine. Later, with the appearance of the “Alanta” team in Dnipro, she switched to classical volleyball. As part of the “Alanta 2” team, Yaroslava became the silver medalist of the first league of the championship of Ukraine. Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine prevented them from completing their performances in the top league.
Trying to continue her sports career, Yaroslava moved to Poland, where she trained at the Truso club. Here she played in the under-19 championship, twice winning the title of the best player at the regional games and taking 2nd place with the team.
In beach volleyball, Yaroslava, together with her partner, won the regional games.
After a long championship in Poland, she received an offer to play in Italy, where she still plays for the “PSA Matera volley” team in the city of Matera.
UDHTU is proud of its students and sincerely wishes Yaroslav new victories and sporting achievements!
