Training “Your own business: questions and answers of business taxation”

The Head Office of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, with the assistance of the Federation of Employers’ Organizations, held a training “Your business: questions and answers on business taxation” dedicated to highlighting current taxation issues on November 9, 2023 entrepreneurial activities of individuals. The event was held on the basis of the State Higher Educational Institution “Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University”, so it was able to be attended by many students of the institution, scientific and pedagogical workers – specialists in economics, management and administration, entrepreneurs.
Training “YOUR BUSINESS: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS OF BUSINESS TAXATION” as a tool for organizing a successful business.
Tasks of the training: formation of a comprehensive system of knowledge of the peculiarities of taxation, determination of the basics of tax literacy, provision of practical recommendations from successful entrepreneurs, development of professionally important communication qualities and personal skills.
Special guests of the event:
  • Valery Leonov – deputy head of the Main Department of the DPS in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Ivan Sarantsev – speaker, head of the department of administration of taxes and fees from individuals-entrepreneurs of the department of taxation of individuals of the Main Department of the DPS in the Dnipropetrovsk region
  • Olga Vasetska – head of the department of communications with the public of the department of information interaction of the Main Department of the DPS in the Dnipropetrovsk region
  • Aleksandr Galagan – head of the Dnipro City Organization of Employers
  • Mykola Shevchenko – expert coordinator of the Federation of Employers’ Organizations
  • Viktoria Dyomina – director of “AM – consulting group”
  • Denys Yashin – entrepreneur (marketer)

The training consisted of four modules:
  1. The solemn opening of the event with welcoming speeches and wishes to the participants from acting rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology Kostyantyn Sukhoi, deputy head of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region Valery Leonov, expert coordinator of the Federation of Employers’ Organizations Mykola Shevchenko.
  2. The report of Ivan Sarantsev, Head of the Department of Administration of Taxes and Fees from Individual Entrepreneurs of the Department of Taxation of Individuals of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, in which the specifics of taxation and the meaning of the concept of “tax literacy” are explained in detail and clearly .
  3. Practical experience tips from entrepreneurs.
For the participants, the training became one of the real ways to increase the level of competence. Students and scientific and pedagogical staff of the State Higher Educational Institution “Ukrainian State University of Chemistry and Technology” were able to explore innovations in tax legislation in direct communication. We hope that, thanks to the practical recommendations of successful entrepreneurship, this event will become a strong motivational mechanism that will contribute to the further professional and personal growth of students.
In a lively discussion, the most active were identified, and Mykola Shevchenko, coordinator of experts of the Federation of Employers’ Organizations, and Olga Sverdlikovska, mentor of the event, dean of the Faculty of Economic and Humanities and Law of the State University of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, professor, also addressed student participants of the training with a proposal to create a platform for support and implementation of profitable investment innovative startup projects from idea to business for budding entrepreneurs.
By the way, joint projects were planned and there are already a number of important initiatives.
