As part of the Bilateral Program “Educational and Practical Transfer”, on April 24, 2019, at the Faculty of Economics of the Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University the representative of the Information-Analytical Agency “Khim-Courier”, SEE project manager, Artyom Zadvorny conducted a lecture for students of economic specialties on the topic ” The place of the specialists of economic line in the field of market analytics and the requirements for their competence”.

During the lecture, the invited speaker considered the practical aspects of market analytics as a modern type of activity, the qualities that a specialist should have in order to work in the field of analytics, in particular, the professional qualities of the market analyst on the polymers market.

During the lecture the attention was paid to the following aspects: the structure of the modern polymer market and the peculiarities of its functioning under the present conditions of the world economic space transformation; the participants of the process and their information needs; the importance of the role of market analysts to improve the information and logistics links between all the participants of the polymer market.

Artem Anatolyevich paid much attention to the problems of combining University studies and practical work. On his own example, he described the peculiarities of his professional activity as an analyst on the market of polymer products.

In addition, the issues, considered during the lecture, dealt with the specifics of economic journalism as a modern type of activity. In particular, attention was paid to such concepts as genres in economic journalism, the formation of informative notes, abstracts and analytical articles as to the peculiarities of the polymer market functioning in Ukraine and in the world.
