Students of the SEI USUCT USUST learned the secrets of food technology from the Briscola company.

Demand for highly qualified specialists in the field of food technologies remains consistently high today: food production is expanding its areas of activity, introducing the latest technologies, strengthening quality control, and actively seeking young talents. That is why the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products of the Educational and Scientific Institute USUCT of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies continues to strengthen cooperation with leading companies in the industry.

One of such partners is the Briscola company — a food service operator specializing in the comprehensive organization of catering in schools, kindergartens, and higher education institutions, providing a wide range of balanced and safe meals for different age groups of consumers. The company operates according to modern standards of food service organization and product quality control, including compliance with nutritional recommendations and legal requirements.

On March 4, 2026, for fourth-year students of the specialty G13 (181) Food Technologies, an online presentation by company representatives was held. Participants of the event received detailed information about the company’s activities, the specifics of its work, the features of organizing food production processes, and development prospects in the field of food technologies.

The event was particularly valuable thanks to the participation of our graduate Olena Aleksandrova, who works as a leading specialist in food product quality control at Briscola. Olena shared her professional experience, spoke about everyday challenges in production, and highlighted the knowledge and skills she most frequently uses in her practical work.

Students actively engaged in the discussion, asked questions, and discussed opportunities for further cooperation between the department and the company, as well as the prospects for the professional development of future specialists.

This format of interaction not only contributes to deepening students’ practical knowledge but also broadens their understanding of the real labor market in the food industry. It also demonstrates that the department’s graduates have a high level of training and can successfully integrate into the professional environment.

All school graduates can join the professional community and become part of the food industry already this year by choosing the specialty G13 (181) Food Technologies at the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products of the Educational and Scientific Institute USUCT.

Knowledge here is always about quality and the key to success! Choose the best and let’s build the future together!
