November 23-24, 2021 at the State Higher Educational Institution “Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University” the X Jubilee International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of Higher Education Graduates and Young Scientists “Chemistry and modern technologies”..

The chairman of the organizing committee, rector K.M. Sukhii opened the conference and welcomed the participants, noting that the role of young scientists in the development of various areas of modern science is increasing every year. Currently, the support of scientific ideas of young scientists is carried out both by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and by local authorities through the introduction of scholarships, material incentives and funding of applied research projects. DVNZ UDHTU is known for its scientific schools in various areas of chemistry and chemical technology. And at the moment, young scientists of various departments are laureates of a significant number of awards, scholarships and receive funding for the implementation of scientific projects. “Conferences are a very good platform for the development of interesting and valuable scientific ideas, exchange of experience among young and experienced scientists,” the rector noted.

At the plenary session, the representatives of the partners of the conference gave a welcome speech and reports, namely: Polishchuk V.V., director of LLC “RU NVO Agrinol” and Gonchar A.G.,< /strong> director of “VELTA RD TITAN” LLC. The heads of the enterprises introduced the conference participants to the history, current state and needs of their enterprises. Interest in young personnel was also noted.

In addition, reports were heard by the professor of the Department of Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing of Lviv Polytechnic National University P.I. Topilnytskyi and a graduate student of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry named after V.P. Chef of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine I.V. Minaeva

The conference took place in various thematic areas. During the discussions, the participants touched upon the topical problems of various components of chemistry and chemical technology, life safety, occupational health and safety, mechanical engineering and electric power engineering, computer science and engineering, economy and humanitarian issues of the development of society. A special feature of the conference was the work in a separate section of student youth – students of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, lyceums, and college students. The conference participants presented both theoretical and practical developments.
