On October 5, 2023, the humorous festival “League of Laughter – the Rector’s Cup of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology” was held in the auditorium of PDABA.

7 teams took part in the festival:

• “ECOCHEMISTRY” from UDHTU,
• “DIARY STUDENT” from PDABA,
• “UDUNTYKS” from UDUNT,
• “CHAOS – Idle personalities” from UDHTU,
• “WHAT GROWS, GROWS” from PDABA,
• “TYRI-PYRI” from UDHTU,
• “DESPERATE” by PDABA.

Jury of the festival:

• director of the Center for Student Creativity of the Ukrainian State University of Chemistry and Technology, member of the Dnipro team, music editor of the TV show “Women’s and Evening Quarter” Stas Radzimovsky,
• graduate of UDUNT, platoon commander of military unit T0320 Yuriy Piddubny,

Acting Director of the Department of Youth Policy and National Patriotic Education of the Dnipro City Council; founder of the charity platform “Shot of Revenge”; Coordinator of the Public Organization “Protection of Animals of Ukraine”; co-founder of the Charitable Organization “Charitable Foundation “Department of Good Deeds”; co-founder of fishing community “Fishing Dnipro”; founder of the youth employment platform “Shabashka” Serhiy Ludenskyi

• actor of the TV series “Volunteers”, captain of the “Nose” team, founder of the YouTube channel “pofak2”, the most famous chat-roulette player of Ukraine, ambassador of the Russian Federation Kyrylo Ganin.

Festival guest:

• producer of the television project “League of Laughter”, member of the Dnipro team, actor of the TV series Tanka and Volodka, the most famous forester of Ukraine Anatoly Chulkov.

The festival was held on the initiative of student youth and with the support of acting rector of USUNT Kostyantyn Sukhoi with the aim of uniting the student community of UDHTU, PDABA, USUNT into the single most powerful higher education institution of the Dnipro region – the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.

Also, the purpose of the festival is to restore the student spirit, because this is the first humorous event for students since 2020. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, and then due to the war in Ukraine, no similar event was held for Dnipro students.

The festival was also supported by the Department of Youth Policy and National-Patriotic Education of the Dnipro City Council and the “League of Laughter” television project.

The winners of the festival were the team Uduntiki (UDUNT).

All teams received cups, diplomas and gifts from the Department of Youth Policy and National Patriotic Education from the hands of acting rector of UDUNT Kostyantyn Sukhoi and acting rector of PDABA Vladislav Danishevsky DMR.

The winners received the rector’s cup and the main gift of the humor festival – a trip to the filming of the TV project “League of Laughter” in the city of Kyiv.
