At the initiative of the Department of Occupational Safety and Life Safety for the World Day of Occupational Safety and Health on April 28, 2022, the II International Scientific practical Internet conference “Modern problems of professional and civil safety”. Co-organizers of the event are institutions of Ukraine and abroad, including:

• Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
• Educational and methodological center of civil protection and life safety of Dnipropetrovsk region, Dnipro, Ukraine;
• Institute of Chemical Physics of the University of Latvia, Riga, Latvia;
• Balikesir University, Balikesir, Turkey;
• State University named after Bandirma Oniyeda Eylula, Balikesir, Turkey.

Active participation in the work of the conference was accepted by:

Based on the results of the conference, a collection was created, which included 34 theses of 42 authors.

During the discussions, the participants discussed current security issues in Ukraine: the current state and prospects for the future, various components of life safety, industrial and civil safety, and the development of society.
