Future entrants from Petrykivka got acquainted with the educational opportunities of the SEI USUCT
On April 15, 2026, an online meeting was held between representatives of SEI USUCT of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology and graduates of the Petrykivka Lyceum (Petrykivka, Dnipropetrovsk region). The conversation was informal and informative: students not only learned about studying at the university but also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clear answers.
The opportunities for studying were presented by the Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Health, Associate Professor Lina Oleksandrivna Sokolova. She focused on how the role of physical culture is evolving today — it is no longer only about sports, but also about health, recovery, an active lifestyle, and professional self-realization.
During the meeting, students were introduced to the specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” and the educational program “Health and Adaptive Physical Culture”. The discussion covered the specifics of training, the practical component of education, and career prospects.
Senior Lecturer of the department Alla Mykolaivna Kyrychenko actively joined the discussion. She supported the dialogue, students’ questions, and helped them better understand how the educational process and student life are organized.
The greatest interest was sparked by the program “Health and Adaptive Physical Culture”, as it focuses on training specialists in the field of health promotion, physical rehabilitation, and the development of a culture of physical activity. For many participants, this became a new and unexpectedly relevant area.
The meeting was held in an open communication format: students активно asked questions, showing interest in the details of admission, studies, and opportunities for further development.
We sincerely thank the Director of the Petrykivka Lyceum, Maryna Pavlivna Soroka, for assistance in organizing the meeting and supporting career guidance activities.
Such online meetings help high school students better navigate their future career choices and see the real opportunities offered by studying at the university.
