On April 27, 2023, as part of partnership cooperation, students of the Department of Information Systems took part in an excursion to one of the leading IT companies on the Ukrainian market – EPAM (https://training.epam.ua/, https://www.facebook.com/epamuniversityprograms , https://www.facebook.com/EPAM.Ukraine).

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to get into the atmosphere of a modern office, get acquainted with the principles of organizing the work of an international IT company, see working offices and recreation areas, meals; familiarize yourself with the company’s key business processes. EPAM representatives talked about educational events, internship and career development programs available to education seekers.

The EPAM company ranks first among the largest IT companies of Ukraine according to the DOU. It has a variety of free programs for juniors, upon completion of which there is an interview for projects at the final stage in the internal laboratory. According to the results of interviews, more than 90% of graduates of such programs receive invitations to junior positions at ERAM.

Also, the program of the event included a lecture by an experienced company recruiter on CV drafting. Students received answers to all questions regarding the correct submission of information in the CV just for starters, and the most active received gifts from the company.

Helping students of higher education to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for starting a career and professional growth in the IT sphere is a common goal of the IS department and the ERAM company.
