Excursion of students of specialty 181 to POTOKY LLC

On November 3, 2023, students of the 3rd year of the specialty 181 “Food technologies” and teachers of the department of technologies of natural and synthetic polymers, fats and food products, namely: the head of the department, professor CHERVAKOV Oleg and associate professor RUDNYEVA Larisa visited the most modern sunflower seed processing and sunflower oil production POTOKY LLC in the city of Dnipro.

The tour was conducted by the director of the enterprise TUBOLTSEV Dmytro, production director GLEBOV Anton and senior production foreman BAKLAN Myroslav.

During the excursion, the visitors were introduced to the full cycle of the technological process of sunflower oil production: from safety instruction, seed acceptance, sampling, the stage of complete seed purification from impurities, and oil adherence by pressing and extraction methods. At the same time, the students saw with their own eyes the operation of modern equipment at each stage of the production process.
