On November 27, 2024, an extremely inspiring creative meeting with Oleksiy Byk, a soldier of the 3rd assault brigade, poet and bard, took place in the library of the USUCT Educational and Scientific Institute.

Olexiy Byk, the author of the legendary song “Volunteers of God’s Company”, which became a symbol of the Ukrainian volunteer movement, shared with the students life stories from the front. His stories touched not only on the themes of war, but also on the importance of fundamental values, such as discipline, knowledge and order, which, according to the guest, are key to achieving success in any area of ​​life.

The meeting was not without poetry. Oleksiy Byk presented his works, which captivated the audience with sincerity, wisdom and emotional depth. His poetic lines prompted students to reflect on their own lives and future decisions, leaving an unforgettable mark in everyone’s hearts.

At the end of the meeting, Oleksiy Byk promised to visit the university again with a new book to continue this exciting dialogue with the youth.
