Competition “LACTALISHACKATHONUA 2019”
On April 6, 2019, the Lactalis-Ukraine State Enterprise held a competition “LACTALISHACKATHONUA 2019” for the students and graduates of higher schools from the age of 18 to 25 years old.
The competition was attended by a team of USCTU, which included students of 3-ХВ-74 group (faculty of Glass,Ceramics, Food):
- Kulinich Maxim Anatolievich (“Lactonia-FIT +” team);
- Tretyak Oleksandr Vladislavovich (team “Galbany”);
- Shostak Volodymyr Volodymyrovych (“Loko-Moko” team).
The participants of the hackathon solved the tasks aimed at finding innovative solutions in the development of business cases for optimizing business processes at the State Enterprise “Lactalis-Ukraine”.
During the event, brainstorming between teams were held, which at the end of the competition formed presentations of their business ideas for the implementation of innovative, energy and resource-saving technologies for the production of traditional dairy products (cheese, sour cream).
The contest “LACTALISHACKATHONUA 2019” has enabled future food technology specialists to get acquainted with the main problems of the dairy industry, the ways to improve the quality of dairy products and food safety, and taught teamwork.
The management of the SE “Lactalis-Ukraine” offered the students of the 3-ХВ-74 group of specialty 133 “Sectoral engineering” of the GC&F faculty employment at the company’s manufacturing enterprises in Pavlograd and the city of Mykolaiv after graduating from the University.
Among the teams of Ukrainian Higher schools, the team of USCTU took the honorable 1st place.
