Analysts of the State Technical University of Ukraine took part in the International Scientific Conference

On December 7-8, 2021, teachers and scientists of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the State Technical University of Ukraine took part online in the International Scientific Conference “Modern achievements in organic synthesis, chemistry of polymers and food additives”. The conference was held on the premises of Lviv Polytechnic University and was dedicated to the bright memory and the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Scientist and Engineer of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Honorary Professor of Lviv Polytechnic Voronov Stanislav Andriyovych. Stanislav Andriyovych was the initiator of the opening of the specialty “Chemical technologies of food additives and cosmetics” in 2004. Over the following years, this specialty spread to 5 universities in the country, because specialists in food additives and cosmetics are in great demand on the labor market among enterprises of the food, processing and cosmetic industries.

Two oral presentations were presented by the department of AH and HTCD and KZ of our university (associate professor V.L. Kovalenko and M.Sc. Vasylenko K.V.) and 12 poster presentations with the participation of research students of the department. During the conference, the head of the physical chemistry department of NTU KPI, prof. Chihyrynets O.E. delivered a report on modern educational and professional programs for training bachelors and masters in the field of “Chemical technologies of food additives and cosmetics”. On these issues, a fruitful discussion was held regarding the peculiarities of the educational process of training specialists in chemical technologies in the field of HD and KS. The head of the Analytical Chemistry Department, Prof. Nikolenko M.V., associate professor Avdienko T.M., head of the KhNTU department, prof. Saribyekova D.G. etc.

The participants of the conference sincerely thank the organizers for the high-quality preparation of the conference and for the interesting discussions on the improvement of educational and professional programs for the training of specialists in the chemical technologies of food additives and cosmetics.
