From February 11 to 14, 2025, a large-scale event was held at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology – the First Scientific Hackathon Tournament, in which 51 teams from lyceums of the city and region participated. Students of the Chumakiv Lyceum of the Chumakiv Village Council, together with mentors – students and teachers of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Biomedical Materials of the National Research Institute of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology – solved topical scientific problems.

The “Chumaksky Shlyakh” team won in the nomination “For the Best and Most Convincing Defense”. As a prize, the students received a certificate for visiting an entertainment institution in the city of Dnipro.

During the spring holidays, on March 24, 2025, the winners celebrated their victory in the quest room “City without Sun” from XRoom. The main task is to find a way out of the darkness by solving all the riddles. The atmosphere of the game and teamwork gave the participants vivid impressions!

The winners expressed their gratitude to their mentors and the university administration for the opportunity to prove themselves in scientific competitions and have an interesting rest.
