USUST introduces students to educational opportunities and modern professions
On March 3, 2026, an online meeting took place between representatives of the NNI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” UDUNT and students of Obukhiv Lyceum of the Obukhiv Village Council of the Dnipro District, Dnipropetrovsk Region.
About 50 high school students participated in the virtual meeting along with their class teacher Nataliya Mykolaivna Hura. During the event, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the modern educational opportunities of the university, study prospects, and the choice of their future profession.
The participants paid special attention to the presentation of the specialty A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” within the educational program “Rehabilitative Physical Culture and Sports”. The Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Health, Lina Oleksandrivna Sokolova, spoke about the specifics of the training, professional prospects for graduates, and the importance of specialists in physical culture and health rehabilitation in modern society.
Senior lecturer of the department, Alla Mykolaivna Kyrychenko, shared practical aspects of the educational process, features of student life, and opportunities for professional development for future specialists.
A separate part of the meeting was devoted to the admissions campaign. A representative of the admissions committee, Katerina Volodymyrivna Royenko, provided participants with detailed information about the admission conditions, the procedure for submitting documents, and the principles for calculating the competitive score.
The organizers of the meeting express their sincere gratitude to the lyceum director, Olha Volodymyrivna Senets, for supporting the collaboration and facilitating career guidance work with the students.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and became another step in introducing future applicants to the study opportunities at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology. It is quite possible that among the participants of the event are future coaches, specialists in rehabilitative physical culture, researchers, or athletes who will continue their educational path at USUST.
