On 24 June 2026, the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) took another important step in strengthening its partnership with employers in the pharmaceutical sector. On this occasion, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Podorozhnyk Dnipro LLC, represented by its Director Yuliia Shevchenko, and the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, represented by the Rector, Professor Kostiantyn Sukhyi, and the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology“, Professor Olha Sverdlikovska.

The signing of the Memorandum marks the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at preparing highly competitive professionals for the pharmaceutical sector, combining a strong theoretical foundation with modern practical competencies. Particular emphasis will be placed on the development of practice-oriented education and strengthening cooperation between the University and the employer.

The Memorandum provides for the implementation of joint educational, research, and practical initiatives. In particular, students enrolled in pharmacy programmes will have the opportunity to complete internships and practical training at pharmacies within the Podorozhnyk network, gain first-hand experience of contemporary pharmaceutical practice, become familiar with the principles of Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP), and develop professional skills under the guidance of experienced mentors.

An important component of the partnership will be the active involvement of the company’s practising professionals in the educational process. The cooperation includes guest lectures, practical classes, professional training sessions, thematic seminars, and career events. This format will enable students to better understand the expectations of modern employers while allowing the University to continuously enhance its academic programmes in line with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
