USUCT team among the winners of Global GreenChem Hackathon 2025
The team of scientists of USUST “PRO-YVON” from the Department of Biotechnology and Life Safety of the National Research Institute of USUCT under the leadership of the head of the department Natalia Mitina won II place and a prize fund of $1000 at the international Global GreenChem Hackathon 2025, which was held in Kyiv from October 31 to November 2, 2025 as part of the Sikorsky Challenge 2025 festival and the UNIDO GreenChem project.
Teachers Valeria Pavlova, Olga Kogteva and Yulia Minina carried out tasks from the companies DOW and LLC “VKF MBA” ELF DECOR and presented an innovative project for creating a biocomposite from plant waste, aimed at the development of environmental technologies.
