Transformational leadership united students of economic specialties at SEI USUCT
As part of the educational and professional program “Management and Administration” for first-cycle (Bachelor’s) higher education students, the guest lecture series “Transformational Leadership: From Student to Manager” is ongoing, implemented with the participation of several institutes of the university.
The events are organized by the Department of Economics, Management and Entrepreneurship of the SEI PSACEA.
On March 26, 2026, the first lecture of the series took place on the topic “How to Manage Yourself and Build Resilience to Today’s Challenges”.
The guest lecturer was Oksana Vovchenko — Candidate of Technical Sciences, PhD in Project Management, business trainer and coach, organizational development consultant with over 25 years of managerial experience, working with both educational institutions and businesses.
During the meeting, the focus was placed on the internal mechanisms of building personal resilience: decision-making as a tool for change, the importance of self-worth, self-respect, and an adequate level of self-esteem. Particular attention was also given to approaches for overcoming emotional burnout, identifying its causes, and finding a balance between self-help and seeking professional support.
A lively discussion was sparked by issues related to behavioral motivation and practical steps for strengthening personal stability in the face of contemporary challenges.
Participants noted the practical value of the material and the applied nature of the case studies presented. Both the organizers and students expressed their gratitude to Oksana Vovchenko for the insightful lecture, open dialogue, and professional recommendations.
The guest lecture series continues and is aimed at shaping students’ modern understanding of leadership, managerial thinking, and personal effectiveness skills.
