On April 24-26, 2019, the IX^th International Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Chemistry and Modern Technologies” was held at the Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University.

Co-organizers of the conference were Dniprovsky National University named aftwer O. Gonchar, Belarussian State Technological University, Norwegian University of Natural Sciences, Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagin, Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi.

More than 300 scientific conference abstracts from various educational institutions of Ukraine as well as Poland, Russia, Moldova and France were sent to the organizing committee of the conference.

At the plenary session, the first vice-rector of the University, Professor Goleus V.I. welcomed the participants of the conference and wished them success, inspiration, creative ideas and their embodiment, enrichment of experience and further cooperation.

The reports were presented by the head of the department of international cooperation, associate professor Kotok V.A.; the candidate of technical sciences, the assistant of the department of mechnical engineering Anisimov V.V.; Kuśiec K. R. and Malyshew V.V. (The Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences).

According to the program, the work of the conference was carried out in 13 sections on thematic principle. The best scientific papers were awarded by the certificates.

Besides, without violating the tradition, on the occasion of the conference the ornamental plum-tree was planted in the University patio.

Favorable weather conditions made it possible for our guests to take a walking tour of the city. The excursion turned out to be very interesting and informative.
