SEI USUCT Celebrated the First Graduation of Bachelor’s Students in Specialty 017 “Physical Culture and Sports”

On 1 July 2026, the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) marked a significant milestone as the first graduates of the 017 “Physical Culture and Sports” specialty under the “Physical Rehabilitation” educational programme, delivered by the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health, received their Bachelor’s degrees.

The graduation ceremony was a particularly memorable occasion for the Department, as the students of Group 4-FK-53 became the first Bachelor’s graduates to complete this educational programme. This inaugural graduation opens a new chapter in the training of specialists in physical culture, sports, and physical rehabilitation at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.

Throughout four years of study, the students acquired comprehensive knowledge of modern approaches to physical rehabilitation, health promotion technologies, the organization of physical activity and wellness programmes, and sports training. The educational programme combines a strong theoretical foundation with extensive practical training, preparing graduates for professional careers in physical rehabilitation, health promotion, sports, and the restoration of public health.

During the graduation ceremony, the graduates were congratulated by representatives of the University administration, the leadership of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology“, faculty members of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Health, and academic mentors who had supported the students throughout their professional development.

In their speeches, they emphasized that the first graduation of the “Physical Rehabilitation” educational programme represents an important milestone in the Department’s development and confirms its ability to educate highly qualified, competitive professionals capable of meeting the growing societal demand for health restoration, physical rehabilitation, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Throughout their studies, the students actively participated in scientific, sporting, and community activities, completed professional internships, gained valuable practical experience, and developed the competencies required for their future careers. The knowledge and skills they acquired will serve as a solid foundation for their professional work in the fields of physical culture, sports, and physical rehabilitation.

During the ceremony, the graduates expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their lecturers, acknowledging their unwavering support, professionalism, mentorship, and belief in every student’s potential. According to the graduates, it was their teachers who not only provided them with professional knowledge but also helped cultivate a responsible and dedicated attitude toward their future profession.

The graduation ceremony marked the symbolic completion of an important stage in the students’ academic journey while also opening the door to a new chapter in their professional lives. Ahead of them lie new opportunities for further education, professional development, and meaningful careers in a field dedicated to preserving and restoring people’s health.
