The defense of coursework by future physical rehabilitation specialists took place at the SEI USUCT

Within the walls of the SEI USUCT USUST, the defense of coursework of students of group 3-FK-53 took place, which became an important stage in the professional development of future specialists in physical rehabilitation. The atmosphere of the event combined scientific thoroughness with sincere interest in research topics.

This year, students chose topics that have a clear practical focus and meet the current needs of modern rehabilitation medicine. The first coursework of Bryzhy Dina (scientific supervisor – Ph.D., Associate Professor Melnyk Oksana Vasylivna) on the topic “Physical rehabilitation after ankle injuries in volleyball players” attracted particular attention. The student conducted a detailed analysis of common sports injuries and modern approaches to recovery, with a particular emphasis on stabilization exercises, the development of proprioception and balance as key components of sports rehabilitation.

It is also worth noting the work of Tetiana Humenna “Physical rehabilitation of individuals with ankle fractures” (scientific supervisor – senior lecturer Alla Mykolayivna Kyrychenko), in which the student consistently considered the stages of recovery: from primary mobilization to full-fledged functional recovery with the involvement of exercise therapy, massage, physiotherapy and orthopedic devices.

The work of Nataliya Kiyashko “Features of physical rehabilitation of patients with scoliosis of various degrees” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D. in physical education, associate professor Oksana Mykolayivna Ivchenko) was distinguished by a deep analysis and demonstration of modern rehabilitation methods. In her report, the student presented effective posture correction schemes using kinesiotherapy and recommendations from practicing specialists.

The members of the examination committee highly appreciated the thoroughness of the research, the level of analytical thinking and the ability of the students to integrate theoretical knowledge into the practical plane.

The defense ended with a lively discussion, sincere applause and wishes for further scientific and professional achievements. Conducting such events is an important component of the formation of a modern physical rehabilitation specialist who is able to work at the level of today’s requirements.
