Teachers of the SEI USUCT joined the USUST team in the international program MInT-Ukraine
The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology has become one of 15 selected universities in Ukraine to participate in the first cohort of the international program “Micro-Credentials as an Internationalisation Tool for Ukrainian Universities (MInT-Ukraine)”, which is implemented by Leibniz University Hannover with the support of DAAD.
The inter-institutional team of the university, which will work on the implementation of micro-qualifications and the development of internationalisation, includes five representatives of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology:
- Team leader – professor. Larysa Garmider, Head of the Department of Economics and Law;
- Professor Roman Smotraev, Deputy Director of the Academic Department of USUST, Professor of the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology and Ecology;
- Professor Nataliya Chupryna, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Humanities and Law;
- Associate Professor Olexandr Savchenko, Head of the Department of Philology and Translation;
- Associate Professor Olga Kuchkova, Head of the Department of Marketing and Career Guidance of USUST, Head of the Department of Marketing and Logistics.
The program will last 12 months and will combine online modules, face-to-face training, work on individual university projects and in-depth study of internationalization strategies, microqualifications, quality standards and international education management. Representatives of our institute have already taken part in the Kick-Off Meeting and the first training sessions.
The participation of teachers of the SEI USUCT in MInT-Ukraine will contribute to the introduction of modern forms of education, strengthening international ties and developing new educational opportunities for students and teachers.
