On February 25, 2026, students and lecturers of the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of USUST visited one of the leading enterprises of the Dnipro region producing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages — the MOVA Brewing Co brewery.

During the excursion, participants learned about the history of the company’s establishment, the specifics of modern brewing production, and the main stages of the technological process of beverage manufacturing.

Students and lecturers express their sincere gratitude for the informative meeting to the company representative Bohdan Tochka, who spoke about the history of brewing in Ukraine, shared his professional experience, and explained the specifics of the technology used to produce high-quality beverages.

The MOVA Brewing Co. brewery was founded in Dnipro and develops the culture of craft brewing, combining classic world beer styles with experimental varieties. The company has created an entire project around beer culture that includes beverage production, a themed space for visitors, and educational tours dedicated to the history of brewing.

It is especially pleasant to note that a significant number of employees of MOVA are students or graduates of the Department of Technologies of Natural and Synthetic Polymers, Fats and Food Products of the Educational and Scientific Institute USUCT.

Such educational visits allow students to better understand the specifics of modern food industry enterprises, see the application of theoretical knowledge in practice, and gain additional motivation for professional development.
