On March 21, 2025, students of the Lyceum “Borysfen” visited the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology and Ecology of the Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.

A practical lesson was held for the guests in the laboratory, where the lecturer of the department, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Gruzdeva introduced the students to the processes of mechanical purification of natural water. During the laboratory work, the students investigated various methods of separating mixtures by filtration, observing how water purification takes place in practice.

Such meetings allow students to get to know the scientific environment better, expand their understanding of modern water purification technologies, and evaluate the prospects of studying at USUST. We hope that many of them will join our academic community in the future!
