Student Leaders of Dnipro Met at the SEI USUCT
On September 8, 2026, the Student Council of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUST), together with the Public Organization “Students of Dnipro”, held another meeting of student self-government bodies of the city of Dnipro. The event took place at the SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of USUST.
This large-scale meeting of youth leaders took place within the walls of the SEI USUCT at the initiative of the Deputy Head of the USUST Student Council, Hlib Pivnenko, and with the support of the university administration, in particular, the Director of the SEI USUCT, Olha Serhiivna Sverdlikovska.
As part of their introduction to the institute, the delegates of the meeting of student self-government bodies of the city of Dnipro visited the Museum of the History of the SEI USUCT. The guests were welcomed by the Director of the Institute, Olha Serhiivna Sverdlikovska, and Deputy Director Yaroslav Mykolaiovych Kozlov, while the tour was conducted by Director Maryna Mykhailivna Demidko.
For many participants, this was their first meeting with our alma mater. Therefore, instead of a standard tour, the organizers sought to share the institution’s living history, showcase its unique spirit and rich heritage. The guests enthusiastically immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the past – from the early years of its establishment to scientific discoveries and the vivid chapters of student life experienced by different generations.
The meeting was attended by delegates from leading higher education institutions of the city, including Alfred Nobel University, Dnipro University of Technology, Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Dnipro State Medical University, and others. Representatives of professional colleges also joined the meeting: Dnipro Transport and Economics Professional College, Dnipro College of Railway Transport and Transport Infrastructure, Mechanical Engineering Professional College of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, and Motor Transport College of Dnipro University of Technology.
During the meeting, the participants discussed detailed plans for upcoming city events, including the traditional “Battle of Higher Education Institutions” tournament and the celebration of Student’s Day. Particular attention was paid to cooperation and interaction with the Ukrainian Student League (USL).
