On May 27, 2025, the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Institute for Problems of Materials Science named after I.M. Frantsevich of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The document was signed by the Rector of USUST, Professor Konstantyn Sukhyi, Director of the Scientific and Research Institution “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology”, Professor Olga Sverdlikovska, and Director of the Institute for Problems of Materials Science, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Hennadiy Baglyuk.

The memorandum provides for a wide range of areas of interaction between the parties: from creating conditions for dual education and students’ access to modern laboratory equipment to joint participation in scientific projects, publications, and professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff. Important aspects include the exchange of experience, holding conferences, master classes, and engaging in international cooperation.

The signing was also attended by the Deputy Director of the Aerospace Institute Konstantin Varlan and the Head of the Department of Innovative Engineering Oleg Kabat.

The University continues to expand the circle of partners and consistently forms an effective scientific and educational environment focused on practice and innovation.
