Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with Magdalinivka Vocational School No. 88
On June 25, 2025, the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Vocational and Technical School No. 88 (Magdalinivka town) and Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology took place.
Representatives of the SEI USUCT visited the educational institution: Acting Director of the Institute, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Olga Sverdlikovska, Head of the Department of Processes, Apparatus and General Chemical Technology, Professor Yuriy Sknar and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Food and Chemical Technologies, Associate Professor Anna Gura.
During the meeting, they familiarized those present with educational programs, features of the admission campaign, career prospects and opportunities that studying at USUST opens up. Video materials about the university, its infrastructure and the benefits of studying were presented.
The official signing of the Memorandum, which took place with the participation of the director of Vocational School No. 88 Elena Yudenkova, was a step towards new high-quality cooperation between the university and the vocational education institution.
The planned areas of cooperation include:
- implementation of dual education and updating programs to meet the modern needs of industry;
- joint participation in the formation of educational strategies;
- implementation of scientific initiatives, internships and academic exchange;
- career guidance support and assistance in entering USUST;
- organization of trainings, conferences, workshops;
- use of the school’s laboratory facilities for practical training of students.
The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation is an important step towards creating a modern educational space that combines professional training, science and the latest technologies.
A special award on the occasion of the event was received by the teacher of Vocational School No. 88 Volodymyr Filipchuk, he was awarded with an honorary diploma for the active implementation of STEM approaches in the educational process of the school.
