During February–March 2026, lecturers and representatives of the departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology conducted a series of career guidance meetings for students of lyceums in the city of Dnipro.

The events were attended by students of Lyceums No. 97, No. 7, No. 15, No. 139, No. 120, No. 91, No. 42, No. 134, No. 54, and No. 136, as well as Samarskyi and Slobozhanskyi Lyceums. The meetings were held in the format of an interactive career guidance quest, which made it possible to combine familiarization with the university and engaging practical tasks.

During the quest, the students completed thematic missions, solved logical and scientific tasks, and became acquainted with the fields of specialist training offered at SEI USUCT. These included modern specialties in the areas of chemical and food technologies, pharmacy, ecology, robotics, materials science, economics, and management.

This format allowed students not only to gain information about the university’s educational opportunities but also to experience the atmosphere of scientific inquiry and try themselves in the roles of researchers and engineers. The participants активно interacted with the organizers, completed team tasks, and demonstrated creativity in solving the assigned challenges.

The most active participants of the career guidance quest received gifts and prizes from the university, which added even more positive emotions and motivation to the events.

Such initiatives of SEI USUCT are aimed at promoting science and engineering specialties among young people and help school students better understand their professional interests. At the same time, such meetings open up opportunities for future applicants to study at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology and introduce them to the modern educational environment of the university.
